Hey guys! Welcome back! Looks like this is the last blog post, crazy how fast this year went by, especially because of quarantine. It still feels like the beginning of the year, and now we’re already going to be juniors! I still feel like a freshman 😉 Even though about a quarter of the year was in quarantine and online school, overall sophomore year was pretty fun. I am a little nervous about becoming a junior, I know how everyone talks about how hard it gets, and I already have so much stuff on my plate preparing for next year! This summer is going to be a little less fun than usual. A lot of ACT preparation, lot’s of community service, and on that note, I also got a job today! I will be working at the Rosewood Miramar. I am actually really excited, I think it’ll be super fun. I am going to be a pool and beach attendant so I set up the chairs and towels, I bring food and drinks, and I take care of all the guests. It’s going to be pretty relaxing and easy compared to the rest of the jobs there. I also get to be outside in the sun and doing stuff, so I’m not just sitting inside which will be nice as well.

It has also been super nice because everything is starting to open up again which means it’ll soon go back to normal. I walked down state street the other day and everyone was out walking around, it was super nice. When quarantine lifts, I am hoping to visit family back in Illinois or maybe take a trip somewhere fun! We normally visit family for 4th of July because that’s when all the family members gather together at the lake in Illinois. I am not sure if that’s going to happen this year with quarantine, unless it lifts. Anyways, I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing summer!! 🙂
