Welcome back! For my first post I wanted to tell you guys a little bit about one of the most amazing trips I have ever been, just this past summer. I went to anguilla which is an island in the carribean. I got invited by one of my friends and her mom as well as my mom. They also invited two other daughters and their moms which we were friends too. We flew from LAX to Atlanta and spent the night at a hotel next to the airport and then we flew from Atlanta to Saint Martin which is a small island in the carribean, we took a 30 minute boat ride to anguilla. Then, we took a bus to the resort that we stayed at, and checked it out for a bit. We went to dinner at the hotel, had a couple tropical drinks and watched the sun go down. It was 85 degrees at 7pm, with a nice warm breeze we even went night swimming that after dinner because we didn’t want to miss anytime to swim in the clear, turquoise, warm water. We went back to our hotel room and got a good night’s sleep. The next morning we ate breakfast and me and my friends wanted to start the day earlier than the moms so we went down to the beach and snorkeled just at the little snorkel area that the hotel has for guests. We hung out there all day in the lounge chairs and layed in the burning hot sun, got amazing smoothies and pina coladas, and spent basically the entire day in the 80 degree water, it was amazing. The next day we took a boat out far away from shore and we went scuba diving, it was definitely the coolest thing I have ever done, we did it two days in a row. The first day we went only 30 feet deep and we just dove around a reef and saw some beautiful wildlife, the second day we went 60 or 70 feet down and went to a shipwreck, we saw enormous lobster that were probably four feet long, we saw sea turtles, pufferfish, sting rays, amazing colorful fish, and so much more. The rest of the trip we just spent relaxing at the beach, the pools, snorkeling, eating, getting a lot of sun, and trying a bunch of new foods. I had the best trip of my life, it was such an amazing experience I hope I can be able to do something like that again! See you guys on my next blog! :))
